CYT Nashville presents: Disney's NEWSIES
Thursday - Saturday at 7:00pm
Saturday at 2:00pm

Carry the Banner with CYT as they bring Disney's NEWSIES to life on stage. Inspired by a true story set in turn-of-the-century New York City, NEWSIES is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged "Newsies," who rallies Newsies from across the city to strike against unfair conditions and fight for what's right when titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys' expense. Featuring a Tony Award-winning score by Alan Menken and Jack Feldman, and book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, NEWSIES brings a timeless message, perfect for the whole family and every audience!

WCPR and WCCAC Present the 2nd Annual
Franklin International Indie Film Festival (FIIFF)

On behalf of Williamson County Cultural Arts Commission, the greater Williamson County and Nashville community,  friends in the Tennessee Entertainment Commission, our sponsors, staff and volunteers, WCPR is proud to present the 2018 FIIFF (Franklin International Indie Film Festival).  As many know, Franklin is a place where stars often collide with a friendly crowd.  For our community of Filmmakers, Film workers, Television and New Media makers, FIIFF brings together collaborators as  well as the industry influencers of today.

The festival includes film blocks, some with talkbacks with filmmakers resent to discuss their projects, as well as discussion panels and workshops to provide honest answers about the craft and to assist TN filmmakers on their journey. There is something for everyone here at the festival, so we look forward to seeing you at the movies!

The mission of the Franklin International Indie Film Festival (FIIFF) is to celebrate independent film and to promote the entertainment industry burgeoning in Middle Tennessee. Our festival entries incorporate universal challenges such as relationships, the family, our environment diversity, political unrest and how we live in our worlds today.
